This Simple Trick is the Key to a Perfect At-Home Blowout

By now, we're sure most of us have accepted the fact that a blowout always looks better when a pro does it. You can’t always get what you want, right? Wrong. We just came across this genius trick on mastering a shiny, voluminous blowout and it won’t cost you a thing.

According to hairstylist Bridget Brager, you should rough-dry your hair first until it is about 85 percent dry. Thenyou can grab that round brush and finish it off.

“For a quick and beautiful blow out, rough drying hair allows natural texture and volume to come out,” says Brager. “Once you have a good foundation, using a round boar bristle brush skinnies and smooths the hair down and brings it together, which allows shine to come to the surface.”
